Hello,

I am tasked with building some sales/promotions reports with GP great plains data in an external SQL source. 

I cannot do date range searches as it grinds to a halt. 1/1/2011...1/31/2011

I tried adding two calculations, date month and then year. Then use them to do the range search 

Should I use Queries to populate a second FMP data only table then report on it?  If so how is this done?

Any guidance on the would be greatly appreciated.
