Eeny, meeny, miny, moe?
I do recall considering SMTPit Pro at the time we were building it: the pricing was very similar, both provided all of the features we needed, and we were already familiar with mail.it so we went with it. I was either not aware of the 360Works plug-in or it had not been released yet (maybe someone knows the version history better than I) but having looked at it since it also would have been a strong contender. I don't think you can go wrong with any of those three vendors. I would look at the plug-in portfolio they each offer, get a sense of the developers themselves (i.e. how helpful and communicative are they), and choose the vendor and plug-in that is most compelling for your needs.
Cheers,
