Hey Loretta,

The engineers at FileMaker Inc. say that Recover is just meant for getting the data out of a damaged file. You should never use a file that has been corrupted.

The ideal solution is to import the data into a clean backup, that doesn't need to be recovered.

If you don't have a clean backup, then you can sometimes fix these types of problems by just saving a compressed copy of the database. If that doesn't work, try saving a clone and importing the data into it.

If THAT doesn't do the trick, then you need to build a new copy of the file. If the idea of rebuilding makes you want to weep, then check out this site:
