I deal with accounting issues, but I can't say from the version I downloaded that I'd be able to offer any input from a "programmer" perspective. I don't know what the data model is, I don't know how easy it would be to modify, how easy it would be to integrate into an existing system, etc. That type of knowledge, I'm afraid, is best determined from a "free" (as in speech) system.
I could create a specification of what I would want to see in such a system, how I would want to be able to modify it, and what would make it easy to integrate but I usually charge for that type of service. :)
