Ha ha, it's quite true this brings it into line with other applications! Of course, the question is really the perennial one of whether Filemaker is just an application or not. Many of us would like it to be defined as an application development environment, which of course might change perceptions entirely.   :)

Like many others, I have to say I find the new toolbar rather ugly. It is too big (but only by default, I have learned) and not really in keeping with the best of UI design. But it doesn't bother me too much. I can switch it off – as in my older applications – or use it if I like.
