**OPEN STUDIO HOURS**
Tues, Friday, Saturday: 1PM-5PM
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 1PM-9PM
Open to currently enrolled Dartmouth students and faculty

**SIGN UP EARLY FOR JEWELRY OPEN STUDIO USER FEE DISCOUNT**

*Option 1:  Sign up for your full school year Jewelry Open User Fee by
October 14th and get a huge discount!!

Students $32 regular, $25 w/discount - Faculty $200 regular, $160 w/discount

*Option 2: FREE JEWELRY STUDIO ORIENTATION TOUR
Attend one of the jewelry studio optional, free orientation tours. Learn about  
the tools and what's possible to make and get the above discount for the full  
year Jewelry Studio User Fee if you sign up during the tour, plus get a $5.00  
certificate good to use on your first project in the '11-'12 school year.

Each class will offer a pile of tips and tricks and a finished project to take  
home
Sign up for one, two or all of them

*Jeweler's Saw
Sawing straight lines, curves and corners, drilling and piercing
Project: Celtic Earrings
October 4, 2011, 6-9 pm $15

*Bezel-setting
Learn to the basics and some special tricks to set stones
Project: Pendant w/stone
October 11, 2011, 6-9 pm $15

*Cold Connections
Miniature nuts and bolts, taps & dies, rivets, glues
Project: Wearable Picture Frame
October 18, 2011, 6-9 pm $15

*Soldering
Learn about different types of solder, different joints and torches
Project: Split shank ring
October 25, 2011, 6-9 pm $15

*Forging
Proper use of different hammers to shape and texture metal
Project: Hammered bracelet
November 1, 2011, 6-9 pm $15

*Linked Chains
Different chains that use hand-made jump rings
Project:  Chain samples
November 8, 2011, 6-9 pm $15
