        but don't have any more room in your packed schedule?***

               ***Then the Dartmouth Chamber Orchestra is for YOU!!!***


Come play with the Dartmouth Chamber Orchestra, Dartmouth's only student-run musical  
ensemble, led by Justin Lashley '12!  The DCO holds rehearsals once a week (Sundays  
from 1-3pm) and performs for campus at the end of each term.

This fall, we will be playing Prokofiev's famous symphony, Peter & the Wolf.   
This piece has incredible solos for almost every instrument, so this is your time  
to shine!  The piece also features a Narrator, who must spin the story of young  
Peter as the music plays.

If you are interested in a solo part (as a musician OR a narrator), open auditions  
will be held Thursday (9/22) and Friday (9/23) from 5-7 pm in Upper Buck.  We  
ask that you have a few bars of your favorite piece prepared and also be ready  
for a bit of sightreading.  If you are interested in a solo but can't make either  
of these times, please blitz "DCO"

Want to play but not quite ready for the spotlight?  Come to rehearsal anyways!  
  Our first rehearsal will be this Sunday Sept 25th in Hartman in the music department  
at 1 pm.  All are welcome!
