ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION (ECO)
At the HOP we're lucky enough to have great composting and recycling facilities,
and we're excited to educate all HOP-goers about how to deal with their trash.
It's as easy as 1,2...'Hey, I'm here from Sustainable Dartmouth to help you decide
what to do with your trash!' Hopefully we can begin to change people's behavior
through education and example. Blitz eco to organize getting a Sustainable Dartmouth
shirt to make you look official, then sign up for a time here: http://bit.ly/f8IbAY
, just to give us an idea of how often we have people out there tabling. Thanks!

BIG GREEN BIKE PROJECT (Jenny Juarez)
Over 300 Bikes are abandoned on campus each year. We hope to start a program that
will recycle bikes by training and hiring at risk youths in the upper valley and
repair bikes. The program would include workshops in resumes and leadership skills
and a bike marathon. At the end of the summer they will sell the bikes at the
Sustainability Move-In sale. We need a lot of help this Winter in creating a business
plan, so blitz back if you're interested in helping with this effort or staying
updated on the project!
