******The Big Green Bus is looking for more events and places to visit on its
summer tour in the following cities: Princeton, NJ (6/28), Orlando, FL, Tampa,
FL (mid-July), Las Vegas, NV (8/2,3) and Cleveland, OH (9/3,4). Previous events
include farmer's markets, school visits, music festivals, state fairs, or anything
else! If you are from any of these places or just know of something going on we'd

Wednesday, May 4:
*****Last day to watch Dartmouth's Formula Hybrid Competition!
Dartmouth's 5th annual Formula Hybrid Competition will take place on May 1 to
4 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, N.H. Founded and run by Thayer
School of Engineering at Dartmouth, the event challenges teams of undergraduate
and graduate engineering students to design and build, and then to race, high-performance,
plug-in hybrid vehicles. Thirty three teams are registered and represent countries
including Russia, China/Taiwan, Canada, and Sweden. Last year's winner, Italy,
plans to return in 2012.

Wednesday, May 11:
*****As part of "Ecosystems, Justice and Markets: The 2nd Annual Bildner Environmental
Justice Speaker Series," Chaia Heller, Gender Studies, Mt Holyoke College will
be speaking on "Another (Food) Future Is Possible: Post-Industrial Peasants Foraging
a Solidaire Rationality of Agriculture." This will be a two part event including
a brownbag lunchtime lecture at noon in 113 Steele Hall and a catered community
dinner (informal and free) at 6 p.m. in the Cutter Shabazz lounge.
