A brother and sister involved in an illicit romance, a Harvard professor struggling
to write a eulogy for his famous Grandmother and a princess defying her mother
to dedicate her life to science. All of these elements come together in this evening
of two one act plays that chart the search to define both your own identity and
the identity of those around you. Set in post World War 2 Italy, John Ford's "Tis
Pity She's a Whore" tells the story of the systematic destruction of a young woman.
Lila Rose Kaplan's "Biography of a Constellation" follows the journey to rediscover
the truth of who a lost loved one really was. Together, both pieces challenge
our ideas of truth, identity and freedom.
Tickets are $2 at the Hop box office starting February 28th
