We're looking for volunteers to help us do quick and meaningful community service this fall!
Dartmouth Feeding Neighbors is a nonprofit volunteer organization that fights hunger in the Upper Valley through the redistribution of food. We take perfectly good leftover food from '53 Commons, Tuck's Byrne Dining Hall and some local restaurants and deliver it to the Upper Valley Haven, which gives it to struggling families in the community. We've recovered and donated almost 15,000 lbs of food since 14W thanks to our student volunteers!
Here's where you come in. We need volunteers to help with food pick ups Monday, Wednesday, and Friday each week. They take place at 8am and only last about 45 minutes, so you shouldn't have to miss any class.
Don't worry, we'll give you exact delivery instructions before you go. Feel free to sign up for any deliveries on the Google doc here.
