PoliTalk will be hosting a special guest TONIGHT who will be talking about her
experinace as a lobbyist and a human rights activist at the United Nations. Her
bio is below:
Amanda Pirih is the North American Director for the World Youth Alliance (www.wya.net),
a global coalition of young people dedicated to promoting and defending the human
person. She graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with
a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering. Her presentation will highlight
the need for placing the human person at the center of international development,
which is the most effective way to address problems and offer creative solutions.
She will demonstrate how solidarity at the most local level can have a global
impact.
