65,000?
That is about the total number of objects in the Hood's Collection.
The current works on view? They number a mere fraction of the whole.
Come and see something NOT on display.
For one night only, YOU will be the curator!
Step 1: Browse the collection and select ONE reasonably sized work that you would
like to see
*You can search the Museum's entire collection at:
http://dcisweb.dartmouth.edu:50080/?&&&181&s
*A general overview of the collections can be found at:
http://hoodmuseum.dartmouth.edu/collections/overview/index.html
Step 2: Blitz the work's name and artist to "LOOK at the Hood"
Step 3: Join us on TUESDAY, MAY 24th at 8pm in the Hood Museum's Bernstein Study-Storage
center to see and learn about the works that you and others selected in person!
Between 5 and 10 works will be selected for display.
Space limited to 20 guests.
Refreshments will be served.
Please RSVP by midnight THIS FRIDAY (5/13)
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Artfully yours,
