Professor Anne Hoen from Geisel is seeking a caregiver for her medically complex son for this summer and fall. She describes the job as follows: "We are looking for a caregiver for our 8-year-old son who is medically complex with a physical disability. He is very active, playful, talkative, and kind. We are in search of a pre-health student to attend a full-day summer day camp with him from August 12-16 as a 1:1 assistant. We are excited to share that the application for the Dartmouth Class of '85 Bridges to Health Professions Fund is now OPEN! Applications are due by 11:59 PM EST on Sunday, November 26.

The mission of the Class of '85's Bridges to Health Professions Fund is to help diversify the medical profession by reducing financial barriers of preparing for and taking the MCAT for Dartmouth pre-health students with high financial need and academic preparedness. This year the Bridges Fund will provide up to four grants of $1,500 to current Dartmouth students.

We have an update from the Beth Israel Winter Ortho Internship folks. They've let us know they officially have up to 4 open positions for this winter with a stipend of $750 a month. 1. One question we have been getting is if Math 8 is a requirement for Physics 3 This is not the case; Math 3 is the prerequisite for this course! As a reminder, Math 3 is the highest calculus course that you would need to meet the pre-health prerequisites.

Hi Folks,
We have received an IMPORTANT UPDATE ABOUT ORGO SCHEDULE CHANGES from Dartmouth's Chemistry department.

For both next year, 2023-2024 and 2024-2025:

1. Honors Orgo (57/58) will NOT be offered, unfortunately.
2. The Chem 51 and Chem 52 sequence will be offered 3X throughout the year instead!

The good news is that the change will give some of you more flexibility in your Orgo planning for at least the next two years. That being said, remain mindful to take it when you are ready NOT just "to get it done."
