Technology and Language Teaching St. Mary's College, MD Assistant Professor (in Spanish and Foreign Language Instructional Technology) The Department of Foreign Language is looking to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level, combining Spanish language instruction and instructional technology expertise. Responsibilities will include teaching basic and intermediate level Spanish courses, developing pedagogical applications of computer and multi-media technology for the instruction of foreign languages (Chinese, French, German, Spanish), and training and assisting other departmental faculty in the use of technology. St. Mary's College has recently established a 25-station, fully computerized, multi-media lab to support instruction in foreign languages. Applicants must have prior teaching experience, strong expertise in the use of available foreign language instructional software, experience developing pedagogical applications for technology, and sufficient technical background to work on both PC and Mac platforms. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
