Remember, conference registration fees increase by $25 on May 1, 1999. Save $25 by registering now. Also, CALICO plans to mail the conference program to all who register no later than mid May. Registering now will help us to get the conference program to you before the conference. Housing in Oxford is rather limited. It is a good idea to make your room reservation as soon as you can. Because Oxford is some distance from the airports in the area (Cincinnati, Dayton, and Indianapolis), you may wish to rent a car and share rental costs with someone you know who is attending the conference. CALICO is investigating the possibility of organizing a shuttle service between the Cincinnati airport and Oxford, but, given the varying arrival and departure times of conference attendees, it may well prove impossible to arrange a reasonable shuttle schedule. Call Ascot Travel at 800/460-2471 and ask for Brita Northcutt. Brita can help with flight arrangements and car rentals. Because of the cost of using the Cincinnati airport, you may obtain lower overall costs by flying to Indianapolis and driving to Oxford (100 miles on an interstate highway). For details on the conference and registration, visit CALICO's web site at http://calico.org/calico99.html For information on Miami University and the surrounding area, visit Miami's visitors page at http://www.muohio.edu/visitors CALICO '99 is shaping up to be an outstanding conference, one not to miss. See you in Oxford in June.
