Here at Oberlin and within the Ohio5 consortium we have been struggling with the same problem. I went to your website and went through all the steps you describe, yet, to no avail. I tried what you describe in PageMill, and another program called Pagespinner( which, however, is not WYSIWYG). I have to point out that the problems we are experiencing seem to be generated by our Macintosh computers. Using a font like Bukarist 1251 in Netscape composer on a PC worked just fine. However, we are trying to be completely dual platform, since the Ohio5 is a collaborative project involving both PC and Mac campuses. With Macs, already the text entry (for example copying cyrillic text which was generated with a font like Bukarist 1251) from Simple Text into PageMill screws everything up, but PageMill does not allow to choose a font and then type the text directly into the editor. Although one can copy text into Pagespinner which looks fine in the editor, it becomes jibberish when you try the preview, with or w/o the <!--noedit--> tags. I am posting this to the list, since I hope that there are some people out there who have experienced the same problems, and, more importantly, have managed to solve them. Any advice will be appreciated! Many thanks in advance.
