Which application are you using for reading the PDF files - Preview or AcrobatReader? If I recall right neither Preview nor AcrobatReader can do this and it's not only in Hebrew, but also any other Semittic language + any of the Asian 2-byte languages. Another problem maight be if the PDF text is saved as a "picture" or just "text". - Can you highlight words/sentences in the PDF file by just clicking on it and the copy the highlighted to a Nisu document? - If you can do so, the PDF has been saved as "text", - if you can't, it's saved as "picture". To be able to do a full search in a PDF /textfile/ (see above) you'll need to have an Acrobat Pro version matching your system. If the PDF text has been saved as a picture I do not know anything on how to solve such a problem.:-( Cheers, Erik Richard -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Erik Richard Sørensen <[log in to unmask]> NisusWriter - The Future In Multilingual Text Processing - www.nisus.com Openoffice.org - The Modern Productivity Solution - www.openoffice.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
