You do not need to be an experienced or "good" singer to participate. Our motto is, "If you can talk, you can sing!" The Sing-Ins are a chance to learn the music of social movements in America, to sing them with others who enjoy making music, and to discuss the questions that such music raises. For the past two years, these events have taught the songs of the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
