This Tony Award-winning musical follows the struggles of Matilda against her neglectful parents and cruel headmistress. An avid reader and brilliant young girl, Matilda dreams of a better life and a happy

Friday Night Sign-Ins
Date: Friday, January 4, 2019, 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Location: Paddock Music Library, Dartmouth College Library
Cost: Free
Join us every Friday evening from 5-6:30PM during the month of January for the Sing-Ins in the Paddock Music Library. You do not need to be an experienced or "good" singer to participate. Our motto is, "If
you can talk, you can sing!" The Sing-Ins are a chance to learn the music of social movements in America, to sing them with others who enjoy making music, and to discuss the questions that such music raises. For the past two years, these events have taught
the songs of the civil rights movement of the 1960s. This year, we take a look at labor movements in America, with parallels related to race, class, and gender.
