Fox Stand was hopping this (now yesterday) morning, with sparrows galore (10 species), 2 American Pipits, and 6 Rusty Blackbirds. No sign of the redpolls found there by Kyle Jones on Monday. The maze of trails he and Jenn Megyesi mowed through the huge weedy field west of the bridge provide great inroads into sparrow heaven. The much smaller weedy patch near the standing corn north and towards the river were also full of sparrows. Highlights included:Red-tailed Hawk  1
