As I was driving to work at 7:30am today I saw a shorebird on the mud flats
of Pompy Flats. I’m pretty sure it was a dowitcher because it was very
round and orange/buffy on the front, with a long beak. It was on the flats
along the Rt 132, on the east side of the I91 overpass. If anyone happens
to be in the area and gets a chance to lay eyes upon it I’d love to get a
confirmed ID. Thanks!
