Hey triathletes 🏊🚴‍🏃

Get ready for the Buzzard's Bay Triathlon!!! Please read all of the following for a few key changes to the info you've already received!

Reminders:

Buzzard's Bay is our fall travel race, 9/16/18.
- 1/3 mile (ocean) swim, 14 mile bike, 3.1 mile run
  - You WILL need a wetsuit, along with all of the standard tri gear, for this race!! Start thinking about this now if you think you are missing any gear.
Write your name on the spreadsheet below & email Sonia you're receipt so that the team can transport/house/feed you:

Important new information:

The race extended its early bird registration deadline: August 3
It's cheaper! $65 before August 3rd, $75 after, plus processing fees and USAT membership (race director is retroactively applying the collegiate discount to those of you who already registered)

Deadline to register and race with the team: August 15

Retyped instructions for registration here, with the changes:

1. Go to https://runsignup.com/Race/Register?raceId=6266&corpTeamId=13862.

2. Go to EVENT: Individual Triathlon. Click "SIGN UP."

3. Put in all your information.

4. Select "Individual Triathlon."

5. Agree to the waiver.

6. Enter registration code: NECTCBUZZ18

7. If you are an annual USAT member, check “USAT member” and add your membership number. If not, check “not USAT member” and pay a one-day membership fee of $15.

***if you plan on racing more than 3 times in the next year, it’s worth it to become an annual member for $50! You can do that here: https://membership.usatriathlon.org/public/register

9. Select "Collegiate Wave" under category.

10. After filling in emergency contacts, click “YES” to Max’s Triathlon Club Series.

11. Enter the name of your club/team: Dartmouth Triathlon Team.

12. Enter your credit card information and pay.

14. Email Sonia [log in to unmask] a copy of your receipt.

Even if you don't take advantage of the early bird registration deadline, the deadline for racing with the team (driving down with us, staying at the hotel, eating dinner, scoring points for the team) is August 15th.

Reminder that only active members of the team can race with the team! Athletes who meet the active member expectations in the fall will receive a race subsidy!!! (That's about $40 back in your pocket!)
