Professor Marcelo Gleiser (Physics and Astronomy) will talk about his book "The Simple Beauty of the Unexpected." The book is a scientist’s tribute to nature and humanity’s deep connection with and debt to Earth. Osher@Dartmouth hosts Dr. Damon Tweedy, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Duke University for a discussion of his book Black Man in a White Coat. The book addresses racism in medicine for both doctors and patients. Dartmouth affiliates must present their Dartmouth ID for free admission.
