Well, I said it had been a long time, I didn’t check my notes. My intent was to suggest the other 2016 Macworld solution anyway, even though I’m aware that you are averse to letting iTunes do the transfer again. I would be surprised if editing path fragments in those iTunes proprietary data files would allow you to surgically make those changes anymore, but you’re in a spot that’s uncomfortable enough that you may have to decide between risk and inconvenience.
