I took the long way to work and made a quick stop in Wilder this morning. Among the waterfowl were an American Wigeon, a couple of Blue-winged Teal, Common Mergansers, Ring-necked Ducks, lots of Buffleheads, and a couple of Red-necked Grebes. A Bald Eagle flew over, and there was also a Brown Thrasher foraging on the ground.
