With several inches of slush on the road and a light rain I was able to find a few good birds along Bragg Hill rd in Norwich. An Eastern Meadowlark was feeding next to 3 snipe in a wet area of an otherwise snow covered field. A mile further, a male Eastern Towhee crossed the road in front of me. Also Hermit Thrushes in several places and a pair of Canada Geese in the middle of a hay field several miles from any significant open water.

Happy spring!
