Just happened to look out the window about 5pm this afternoon to see a male bluebird sitting on top of our feeder in South Strafford.  Then he flew down to check out the house at the bottom of the hill.  Hope they stay around this year!
This morning there was a song sparrow singing in the bushes at the end of the house and this afternoon I heard a white throated sparrow while walking back home from the village.  Adding in the robins singing from the tops of the maples and the red wing blackbirds in the cedars and it's really beginning to sound like spring!
