Mindfulness practices benefit cognition, emotion, and creativity. After reviewing the contemplative pedagogy movement in higher education, participants will experience two short classroom mindfulness practices designed to cultivate attention, and creativity, and deep engagement; consider the research supporting them; and discuss how implementing them might look in various classrooms. This session is part of GRAD Mental Health Awareness Month!
