Is it possible that this is a White-throated Sparrow doing its little "kick-dance" here among the juncos on the bare ground under the eaves near the house foundation where I've scattered some cracked corn and sunflower? The post-sunset light is pretty dim but those are stripes on it's head and a gray breast and that scratch/kick move.
We've had a resurgence of birds here on Cranberry Hill Road but nothing approaching the numbers others have been reporting. To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
