Good evening.
Received the following from Lyme's licensed bird rehabilitator Catherine Greenleaf of St. Francis Wild Bird Hospital. Please keep your eyes open for it. If sighted please call Catherine at 603-795-4850, NH Fish & Game at 603-271-2461 or VT Fish and Wildlife at 802-828-1000. Another good contact is NH Audubon Raptor Specialist Chris Martin (603-224-9909, Ext. 317).

"There is a juvenile Eagle that got caught in a leg-hold trap and is flying around with it still attached to one foot. This eagle, I believe, came from the nest at McNamara's Dairy in Plainfield. There have been several sightings of him flying to the Lebanon landfill on Rte. 12-A looking for food. Apparently, USDA and U.S. Fish & Wildlife set a bait box trap but could not catch him."
