Just as a reminder, the Mascoma Chapter of NH Audubon will be hosting a bird walk on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. starting at the Richmond Conservation Land. This site is 1 mile north of Bridge Street in Orford (which crosses over from Fairlee and Route 5). Look for the stone marker and kiosk on the left. As parking is a bit limited here and especially at Reed's Marsh, which we will visit later in the morning, birders from the Norwich and Hanover area are encouraged to carpool from the parking area just north of the Ledyard Bridge on the Vermont side. The trails at the Richmond Land can be uneven and wet, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
