Good afternoon.

Please join Members of the Mascoma Chapter Steering Committee and other birding enthusiasts for the second of our May outings at Lebanon's lovely Boston Lot Lake. We'll be seeking to improve on last week's very resectable count of 47 species. We'll be looking for recently returning wood warblers, flycatchers and other song birds such as indigo buntings and rose-breasted grosbeaks.

The walk begins at 7:00 a.m. at  the more northerly of the two parking areas across from the Wilder Dam on NH Route 10. The event is free and open to the public. Bring binoculars and/or a spotting scope as you prefer. The first part of the walk traverses a steep incline with an uneven gravel and dirt surface. Given the amount of recent rain, it may be muddy too. Appropriate footwear is advised.
