American bittern on north dike of Lake Runnemede this morning. Standing in beak up, frozen position.Also pair of great blue herons, pair of bald eagles, 14 ring necks, 4 blacks, 2 f hoodies, dozen or so geese. Song sparrow singing. Happy Spring!Marv Klassen-Landis

Male Cardinal singing from treetops this morning, then female appearing at the feeders!
Both now in the shrubbery.
Bear took suet last night...and thistle feeder! Nuthatches and woodpeckers looking for breakfast are disappointed!
