Driving through Orfordville on 25a, I spotted a flock of American Robins flying out of an area where they were perched. As I arrived at the spot, there were still a few perched and calling. It is hard to say how many there were, but I would say at least twenty were on the move when I first saw them. I also saw a single robin with 9 Cedar Waxwings along Terry Hill Road in Fairlee in some fruit-bearing trees. Where the Lake Morey outflow brook passes under Terry Hill Road, we counted 36 Mallards.
