I set up at the Lebanon Airport this afternoon to count crows as they headed out of the West Lebanon business district area and presumably, the landfill. They began flowing towards the northeast around 4:05 towards their roost somewhere in Lebanon or Hanover. I counted carefully until the flow ended at dusk and came up with 2,507 birds. The roost is invariably much larger as I have also seen birds heading over the middle school in Lebanon out of the south east and birds heading south along the river lately.
