Hi Sharon,

I was a tester and moved to Win10 over the summer and had no problems with Spanish diacriticals (US Int’l keyboard layout).  BUT in the last week or two, I’ve noticed an on-again/ off-again issue with the upside down question marks (¿), exclamation marks (¡) and the ñ when using the alt key to get them.  It is inconsistent and I’ve not yet noticed a particular pattern, but sometimes that keyboard input results in nothing happening on the screen, sometimes it opens a help window (or other type of window) or gives me something else I was not expecting.  I’m curious to see if anyone else has had anything similar.

Cheers,

Alex

Colleagues,

The IS group that manages my University's computer images is testing Windows 10 and has two questions for you all.

 (1) Has anyone noticed specific problems with non-English languages and Windows 10?

(2) What is the best way to install the Russian phonetic keyboard (AATSEEL, Russian for Gringos) for Windows 10?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Sharon Scinicariello
