Hey DOC!!!

This Wednesday (the 12th) @ 6:30 in Filene Auditorium in Moore Hall there will be a showing of the wonderful documentary DamNation.

For those of you who haven't seen it, you should definitely come as it is an incredible experience.

For those of you who have seen it and are thinking why would I want to see it again, I would tell you this: David Montgomery, who is featured in the documentary and is the preeminent figure in fluvialgeomorphology (pretty sweet, right?) will be there to speak about the film.

It's an opportunity YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS!!

Montgomery Fellow, David R. Montgomery will be hosting a screening of the multiple-award winning environmental documentary DamNation.  The movie makes the case for removing deadbeat dams as it portrays their environmental cost through stunning photography and gripping interviews.  After the screening, Montgomery - one of the key voices in the documentary - will be doing a Q&A after with Professors Frank Magilligan (Geography), Chris Sneddon (Geography and Environmental Studies) and Coleen Fox (Geography and Environmental Studies)
