At 5:56 about 150 Common Nighthawks flew about 100’ feet over our house here in Thetford. Headed NW.
I stopped by Pompy Flats at 4:45 looking skyward. Thought I would return about 6:20…(don’t need to now)
This huge flock phenomenon happened here about 9-10 years ago at our house. (same time of year)
Sooooo cool ! Right overhead for 2 minutes…then gone.
