Fairlee Town Forest has recently been added to the eBird hotspot list, so I encourage birders to visit and submit sightings. Maps of the trails and forest roads in this 1600-acre woodland/wetland are available at Chapman's and Town Hall, or online at fairleeforest.org.
We are most interested in tracking changes in bird species at three 2015 patch cuts as they regenerate over the coming decade. The cuts are a short walk from the parking area at the top of Bald Top Rd. It's not too late to get some data for this nesting season. Let me know if you're interested and I'll provide directions or take you there.
