Had 1 Mourning Cloak.  The brown one with the creamy border on the 2 hind wings. Mint condition.

 

Also an Eastern Comma (99% sure, only eyes, no binocs). This is an “angle-wing” with very jagged wing edges (sculpted), orangish in color (when open), w/ tiny comma on the hindwing. These fly very fast and erratically.

 

Both were at home (Thetford, near Un. Vill.)

 

Also we have 3 drumming Ruffed Grouse within earshot of the house.  (1 is a bit further away).  If anyone wants to hear (and stalk) one, let me know.
