The DCS is sponsoring this fantastic opportunity to have lunch with Grammy and Oscar winning musical artist, and songwriter of Kanye West's "Jesus Walks", Che ‘Rhymefest’ Smith, and film directors/producers/writers Ricki Stern ‘87 & Annie Sundberg. The trio will be on campus for a screening of their film In My Father’s House (view trailer), which explores identity and legacy in the African-American family as Che reconnects with his long-lost father whom he presumed was dead. This film looks very powerful and dives deep into larger issues such as homelessness, addiction, community, and identity.

When: Thursday, April 7th, 12 - 12:50 pm

Where: South Fairbanks 105

What: Lunch & a conversation about the larger themes of the film and how your local service work connects to larger national issues.

RSVP: RSVP here --  http://bit.ly/1RxsARq
