Mallards, pr. Hooded Mergs and 1 Greater Scaup(M) at the Kilowatt backwaters.

Dark rounded, purple head, gold eye, no bands on bill (RnDu). Quite light on the back. Didn’t have scope, but good light.

Red-wings and Grackles about as well.

Oh, joy.
