Saturday, the 12th I recorded my first of season turkey vulture. It was observed circling just north of Post Pond.

Sunday morning, a red-tailed hawk, closely monitored by three crows, was perched on a limb of the dead white pine that keeps sentinel watch adjacent to the home property's fire pond.
