Three separate sightings of wild turkeys today.
- First was a solitary individual at the home property feeders about 7:30 a.m. That's the only feeder visit by a wild turkey so far this season.
- The second sighting was the flock regularly seen in the cornfield abutting Farrell Farms Road in Norwich. Perhaps 75 individuals on hand when I passed by at 1:30 p.m.
- At 1:45 p.m. came the final record, a flock of eleven seen foraging in a cornfield off Lyme's E. Thetford Rd.
