Subject: Last call! Avalanche Awareness Course Feb 20-21

A low-snow year is the perfect time to hone your avalanche skills! Only a few spaces left!

The AMC-NH Chapter is offering a two-day Avalanche Awareness Course geared towards learning about weather observation, travel, route-finding/navigation, transceiver work, and decision-making in the backcountry. Includes classroom lectures and activities as well as practice in the field with beacons, probes, and shovels with our trained instructors. Beacons, probes, and shovels will be provided for those who do not have their own.

The course is Feb 20 & 21 at the AMC Highland Center at Crawford Notch. Cost is $100 for AMC members, $125 for everybody else and does not include lodging.
