I strongly suggest going to the DOC's screening of An American Ascent, which it is co-sponsoring with Men of Color Alliance and Dartmouth African Student’s Association.  The movie and some of the speakers will be talking about the lack of diversity in outdoor spaces, a reality deeply rooted in the history of this country, and a reality that creates an ominous outcome for the future of outdoor spaces. But this event is about more than the outdoors— it is about inclusivity in ALL spaces, including spaces at Dartmouth.
