A female Northern Harrier is hanging around Orford this winter. I saw her today from the Tullando Farm. Presumably the same bird I saw a few times in November and also seen at Reed's Marsh by Laura McDaniel recently. I watched her fly downriver today from Reed's Marsh toward the farm, getting good looks at the white rump and distinctive flight as she flew by at eye level, hunting.
