The event will be Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9, 2016 on the campus of the University of Houston-Downtown in Houston, Texas. The theme of the conference is “A World of Languages: Crossing Borders and Platforms.” In addition to welcoming proposals for presentation sessions, workshop sessions, panel discussions, and product demonstrations, we’ve added a new session type this year – 10-minute “technology test drive” sessions where multiple presenters share a quick tech tip in 10 minutes and attendees of the session change tables to hear all presenters. Think of it as “speed dating” for language technology! Registration (forthcoming) will be $25 for one day, $50 for both days.
