Hello-

DCAL is pleased to invite faculty to apply to teach a MOOC, a massive, open, online course. DCAL will select two courses for this next round. The courses will be developed in 2015-2016 and launched in 2016-2017.

Why should you teach a MOOC?
- You'd like to open your course up to anyone, anywhere in the world, for free.
- You'd like to work with a team of experts to develop something new.
- You're curious about how online courses can improve teaching in the classroom.
- You want to become a more effective teacher.
- You think it would be cool to teach a class with 10,000 students in it.

For more information, go to http://dartmouthx.dartmouth.edu/

Please submit a 1-2 page proposal that includes:

2.     Proposed course name.
3.     A brief description of the course.
4.     A brief explanation of why you want to develop and teach a MOOC.

Email your proposal as an attachment to [log in to unmask] by 11:59 pm on Friday, October 16, 2015. We will announce the selections on Monday, November 16, 2015.
